Producer/beatmaker TheMaskedJerk says he thought him producing a song with a major artist would've helped his career take off, but after his previous situation with Lil Yachty over the 'Water On My Face' instrumental he gave up at the time and felt finessed. After a few months passed he eventually started back making beats.
