Thuga Whuga (Nashville, Tennessee) sits down with KRT to discuss Nashville's current generation of artists and why he believes the city hasn't produced another nationally recognized breakout artist like Starlito, Young Buck, and Pistol. During the conversation, he explains why originality is important for artists looking to reach a larger audience, questions the industry's heavy focus on music about guns, drugs, and violence, and encourages artists to explore different subject matters instead of relying on the same topics. He also acknowledges why certain types of music continue to sell, discusses what he believes makes an artist stand out, and shares his thoughts on the talent and potential within Nashville's hip-hop scene.
